My wife Lindsey and I will forever remember Tuesday, June 2, 2009 as a special day. After months of work delivering a vision we believe in for Starkville, the people of this community gave me the opportunity to represent them over the next four years as mayor. We are humbled by your support.

Now, as we prepare to work with the new Board of Aldermen and the citizens for a better and brighter Starkville, it is important for me to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for giving us a remarkable opportunity. Please know that we will always give Starkville the very best that we have - it deserves nothing less!
